The South of Sweden

Skåne is Sweden’s southernmost province.
The largest city in Skåne is Malmö.
In Skåne, it is often summer-like warm weather in early September,
around 20 degrees Celsius.
But it can also be windy and rainy.
In Skåne, everything is close by.
You can visit a big city, a beach, an old forest,
and an apple orchard on the same day by bus and train.

Coast on Three Sides

The province of Skåne has a coastline on three sides: west, south, and east.
There are many beautiful beaches and communities along the coast.
Along the coast there are 1,600 kilometers of hiking trails
and 300 kilometers of cycling paths.
Forest and Agriculture

Skåne has large open landscapes with agriculture,
where farmers grow fruit and vegetables and animals graze.
There are also many deciduous forests with old trees.
Eat Something from Skåne!

Skåne’s most famous pastry is spettekaka.
Spettekaka is similar to meringue.
You can eat it with fresh fruit or berries,
ice cream, or cream.
