Travel to Malmö

We would like to encourage everyone visiting, participating in, or working with the Special Olympics Sweden Invitational Games 2026 to travel by train as much as possible. Together, we can contribute to a more sustainable event – every trip counts!

Malmö Central Station is located in the heart of the city and is easy to reach no matter where you are traveling from. Many different types of trains meet here:

Local and regional trains – shorter journeys within the province of Skåne.
Regional and express trains – for those traveling from larger cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm or Copenhagen.
Long-distance trains and night trains – a comfortable choice for longer journeys, including international travel.
