2000 athletes

We are welcoming 2000 athletes to Malmö: 1500 athletes from Sweden and 500 athletes from invited Special Olympics delegations. 2026 is dedicated to be "the year of parasport" in Malmö and we want to celebrate that with you.

Sports and health

Special Olympics Sweden Invitational Games 2026 will be a sports festival in the heart of Malmö. We will celebrate our athletes with an opening ceremony, with Healthy Athletes Program and with Special Olympics Sweden Family – and much more!
